Levi Elliott Willis

2008 - 2022

Levi Elliott Willis, age 14 of Windyville, departed this life on Saturday, August 27, 2022. The Edmonson County native was born on June 4, 2008 to Rickey Lee and Felicia Dawn Willis of Windyville.

Levi was a student at Edmonson County Middle School, and would have been in 8th grade this year.  He was a country boy through and through.  He  often helped his dad with pets and chickens, and together they’d work with them on a daily basis. As Levi got older, he became more interested in the ATV riding and then dirt bikes, along with other hobbies that boys enjoy. He could shoot trap with a shotgun that would put you to shame.  He thoroughly enjoyed his life.

His greatest accomplishment was on May 3, 2022, when he found the Lord at Bee Spring Missionary Baptist Church, and became a member upon baptism. Levi and his dad were both baptized on the same day, June 12, 2022.

Besides his parents,  Rickey and Felicia, he leaves to honor his memory— his siblings, Chris Holt (Sabrina) of Big Reedy and Brittany Turney (Steven) of Franklin, KY; grandmothers, Mary Willis and Shirley Hampton; nieces, Saddie and Haisley Turney, along with several uncles, aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Virgil Dallas Willis, Sr.

Interment will be in New Home Church Cemetery.
