Zula Smith

Zula Brooks Smith, 84, of  Mammoth Cave, KY passed away  Tuesday, December 11, 2012  at her residence.  The Edmonson County native was born October 5, 1928,  the daughter of the late Charles Smith Brooks and Fannie Belle Priddy Brooks.  She was a housewife and a member of   Union Light Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Nelson Smith of Mammoth Cave, KY; four sons, Charles Ray Smith (Martha), Jimmy Smith (Marcia) and Ernie Smith (Karen)  all of  Mammoth Cave, KY and Nelson Keith Smith (Melanie) of Cave City, KY; two daughters, Mary Meredith (Dwight) and Sharon Halsell (Danny) both of Mammoth Cave, KY; one sister, Eula Thompson of Louisville, KY; fifteen grandchildren, Tracy, Travis, Darren, Kirk, Christy, Mike, Kim, Nicole, Toni, Mindy, Nathan, Colton, Brent, Pavi and Alex and twenty three great grandchildren, Brooklyn, James, Shasta, Jon, Kyle, Gabe, Dalton, Jared, Elle, Samantha, Jessie, Maranda, Madalan, Raydan, Carson, Victoria, Gracie, Sara, Malachi, Levi, Julien, Cannan and Eden.

The funeral service will be 11:00 am , Friday, December 14, 2012 at the Hill Grove Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the Hill Grove Church Cemetery with Bro. James Jessie officiating.
