Zettie Wingfield

Zettie P. Wingfield, 89 of Wingfield, KY passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2014 in  Elizabethtown, KY. The Edmonson Co., KY native was born November 1, 1924  to the late Robert John and Sarah Ellen Jones Poteet and was the wife of the late Jesse Haskel Wingfield.  She was an assembly line worker for Firestone, a WWII Army veteran and a member of the American Legion and Penns Chapel Church of Christ.

She is survived by two brothers, Mitchel Poteet (Sharon LaBeau-Poteet) of Salem, MO. and Kenneth Poteet (Sharon) of St. Louis, MO; three sisters, Alma Wingfield and Amy Bielicki (Gene) both of St. Louis, MO and Vicki Hader-Maskow of Sacramento, CA; two grandchildren, Angel Juliano (Scott) and Travis Wingfield both of Texas and ten great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by one son, Stephen Wingfield.

Burial will be in the Wingfield Church Cemetery with military honors at the graveside.
