Ed is survived by his loving wife of fifty-four years, Gertie Madison Minyard of Bee Spring; two daughters, Cindy Lee of Brownsville and Amy Haycraft and her husband Tracy of Bee Spring; five grandsons, Christopher and Nathan Haycraft, Chip Lee, Daniel and Carter Minyard, a special grandson, Levi; three brothers, Nelson Minyard (Cecil) and Johnny Minyard (Loretta) of New Grove and Kenneth Minyard (Kathy) of Rhoda; four sisters, Lavinia Duff of New Grove, Mary Jane Anderson of Smiths Grove, Diane Tarter (Ervin) of Cedar Springs and Sue Neighbors of Smiths Grove. He is further survived by Gertie's family, who he loved as he did his own, Gerald, Charles, John, Raymond and Anthony Madison, Martha York and Sherry Madison. He was preceded in death by a son, Danny Minyard, a sister, Norma Jean Minyard and a brother, Charles Minyard and his wife Bernice, a nephew, Ricky Nelson Minyard and three brothers-in-law, Joel, David and Bro. Elzie Madison .
Burial will be at Poplar Spring Cemetery, close by his son, Danny, with Bro. Richard Minton, Bro. Jerry Patton and Bro. Kenny Decker officiating.
