William "Bud" Marcum

William “Bud” Marcum, age 66 of Cave City, was surrounded by his family and several friends when he departed this life at his residence on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. The Flint, Michigan native was born on November 14, 1957, to the late Paul Everett and Dixie Wolford Ball. He was married to Diana Tokarski Marcum, who survives. 

Bud retired from General Motors and was a member of UAW #2164. 

Besides his wife, Diana, he leaves to honor his memory— his children, Ashley Marcum (Bobby Pelot) of Grand Blanc, MI, Eric Marcum (Shelby) of Fenton, MI, Doug Spoelstra (Karrie) of Davison, MI, Michelle Rowe and Michael Spoelstra of Park City; grandchildren, Landon and Liam Pelot, Avery, Myla and Everly Marcum, Hunter and Danica Spoelstra and Charles Rowe; siblings, Ricky Ball, Vada Ball, Doris Stover (Dave), Ruth Couch and Judy Heft, along with several nephews and a nieces. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Roger Marcum. 

A private memorial service will be held at his residence.
