William Jordan

William Porter Jordan, 81, of Rocky Hill, KY, died Thursday, April 1, 2010 at his residence.

He was born March 9, 1929 in Louisville, KY to the late James Homer Jordan and Eunice Blanche Welcher Jordan and was the husband of Edna Marie Childress Jordan.

He was a Farmer and a member of Oak Grove Methodist Church and is survived by his wife, Edna Marie Childress Jordan of Rocky Hill, KY; one daughter, Sharon Marie Overfelt of Rocky Hill, KY; two grandchildren, Amanda Pugh (Corey) of Glasgow, KY and Ross Overfelt (Dana) of Horse Cave, KY; six great grandchildren, Tyeisha Monique Lewis, Abigail Brooke Ovferfelt, Breanna Mackenzie Overfelt, Elijah Dewayne Lewis, Malakai Lee Pugh and Emma Jordan Overfelt and was preceded in death by one sister, Jeanette Jordan.

Burial will be Monday, April 5, 2010 in the Rocky Hill Cemetery with Bro. David Stearnes officiating.
