Willard Ray Lashley, age 91, of Noxapater, MS, passed away Monday, April 22, 2013 at his residence. The Edmonson Co. native was born March 15, 1922, the son of the late Miles Lashley and the late Sylvia Ree McGrew Lashley. He was the husband of the late Wilma Lois Johnson Lashley and the late Wanda Clemmons Lashley. He was a mechanic and a carpenter a World War II Army Veteran and of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by one son, Ray Lashley (Earline) of Brownsville, KY; one daughter, Sue Carter (Sammy) of Noxapater, MS; one stepson, David Blanton (Loraine) of Brownsville, KY; two brothers, Leroy Lashley of Richmond Hill, GA and Earl Lashley (Diane) of Macon, GA; one sister, Blanche Ludwig of Riverside, CA; two granddaughters, Lorie Cremeen (Cliff) and Tammy Cade (Paul); three step grandsons, Gary Basgshaw (Donna), Bobby Bagshaw (Cindy) and David Bagshaw (Kay); six great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and several step great and step great great grandchildren.
Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery with full military rites with Bro. Jerry Spainhoward officiating.
