Waneta Vincent

Waneta Vincent, age 88 of Brownsville, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2008 at her residence. She was born July 14, 1920 in Edmonson County to the late John R. and Estella Vincent Roof and husband of the late Leon Vincent. She was a homemaker, a foster grandparent, and a member of Poplar Springs United Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Potter (Richard) of Bowling Green; Lana VanMeter (Phillip, DMD) of Bowling Green; two grandsons; Eric Potter, MD (Jennifer) of Nashville and Brandon Wilson of Bowling Green; two great grandchildren, Colson and Lauren Potter; one brother, Darrell Roof (Wilma) of Louisville and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by one son, Gary Lee Vincent. Services will be officiated by Bro. Jerry C. Vincent with burial in the Midway Church Cemetery.
