Wanda Mason

Wanda Mason, age 82, of Sweeden, KY, passed away Monday, August 29, 2011, at her daughter's residence in Louisville, KY. She was retired from the Edmonson County Board of Education as a librarian, member of Eastern Star #577 O.E.S. and a member of Pleasant Union United Baptist Church.

The Edmonson County native was the daughter of the late Everett Wilkins and the late Nancy Elizabeth Wilkins and was born April 22, 1929. She was the wife of the late Noel James Whalin and the late Robert "Pop" Mason.

She is survived by one daughter: Kathy Wahman (Donnie), Louisville, KY; two grandsons: Jeremy Wahman (Theresa), Joseph Wahman; one sister: Naomi Williams, Sweeden, KY. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Frankie Shaw and her husband Virgil and Nola Patton.

Bro. Richard Minton and Bro. Jonathan Lindsey officiating. Interment will be at Sweeden Cemetery, Sweeden, KY.
