Wanda L. Blanton Lashley, age 74 of Brownsville, passed away Friday, October 19, 2007 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. She was born June 16, 1933 in Edmonson county to the late Clyde and Lois Graham Clemmons and married to the late Vernal Blanton and Willard R. Lashley who survives. She was a maintenance worker for the Edmonson County School System and a member of Fairview United Baptist Church. She is also survived by one son, David Wayne Blanton (Loraine) of Brownsville; two stepsons, James E. Blanton (Willie Reed) of Bowling Green and Ray Lashley (Earline) of Brownsville; one stepdaughter, Sue Carter (Sammy) of Noxpater, MS; three brothers, Kenneth Clemmons (Jessica) of Louisville, Romie Clemmons (Janice) and Larry Clemmons (Danzel) of Brownsville; one sister, Vanda Davis (Frank) of Pine Grove; three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Sue Ashley and a sister, Freda Brooks.
