Walton Luttrell

He was a World War II Army veteran where he fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He retired from the Kentucky Department of Education as a Division Director. He was a former teacher at Hiseville School; a former Barren County School Superintendent and was instrumental in the construction of the new Edmonson County High School.  He was a member of Sweeden Missionary Baptist Church, Allen Lodge #24 F&AM and attended Berean Baptist Church in Port Charlotte, FL.

He is survived by one nephew, Rev. Grant L. Minton and his wife Tonda of Auburn, KY; one niece, Beth Vincent and her husband Donnie of Sweeden, KY; sister-in-law, Linda M. Elmore and her husband John of Punta Gorda, FL. He was also preceded in death by an infant son, Jonathan Minton Luttrell.

Services will be officiated by Rev. Grant Minton with burial in the Sweeden Cemetery.
