Vonnie Hogan

Vonnie P. Hogan, age 78, of  Brownsville, died Wednesday, October  26, 2011 at her daughter's residence. She was born March 3, 1933 in Edmonson County to the late  Mitch Sanders and Nora (Page) Sanders Massey and married to the late Leonard Hogan.

She was retired from P. Lorillard Tobacco Co. and a member of Mt. Zion United Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Sue Lindsey (William "Jackie") of Brownsville; one brother, Mike Sanders of Chalybeate; one sister, Jean Waddle of Chalybeate; three grandchildren, Gayle Vincent (James) , David Lindsey (Brandie) and Denise Davis (Rex) all of Brownsville and four great-grandchildren, Dex Vincent, Nora Beth Vincent, Morgan Davis and Lane Lindsey.  She was also preceded in death by one sister, Lova Sanders.

Contributions may take the form of donations  to Hospice of Southern KY,  5872 Scottsville Rd., Bowling Green, KY 42101.

Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery with Bro. Jerry Patton officiating.
