Virginia Rountree

Virginia Jean Rountree, age 57, of Chalybeate, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at her home. She was born August 8, 1951 in Warren County to the late Gilbert Cardwell and the late Jewell Cardwell and was married to Ronald Rountree. She was the owner of V and R Enterprises and was a member of Networking Women and Beaver Dam Chapel United Baptist Church. She is survived by husband, Ronald Rountree of Chalybeate, KY; son, Rollin Rountree (Leresa) of Brownsville, KY; three brothers, James Cardwell of Richardsville, KY, Donnie Cardwell of Bowling Green, KY, David Cardwell (Margie) of Bowling Green, KY; seven sisters, Catherine Johnson of Bowling Green, KY, Frances Lovins (Gordon) of Somerset, KY, Darlene Page (Bruce) of Bowling Green, KY, Anna Atwell (Robert) of Bowling Green, KY, Marketta Denham of Brownsville, KY, Donna Childress (Lawrence) of Stockholm, KY, Amy Sampson of Brownsville, KY; sister-in-law, Marjean Durbin (Joe) of Chalybeate, KY. Services will be officiated by Bro. Wayne Nolan with burial in Hawkins Cemetery.
