Virginia Meredith

Virginia Nell Meredith, age 81 of Bowling Green, passed away Saturday October 17, 2009 in Bowling Green. She was born March 19, 1928 in Bowling Green to the late Fred and Sadie Garmon Parrish. She was a licensed practical nurse, a housewife and a member of Icy Sink Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband Jesse Meredith, M.D. of Bowling Green; two sons, Richard Meredith (Deborah) and Douglas Meredith (Peggy) of Bowling Green; two daughters, Charlotte Self (Edwin) of Athens, AL and Sharon Smith (Daniel) of Clarksville, TN; two brothers, Carline Parrish (Edna) of Glasgow and Bobby Parrish (Ilene) of Morgantown; one sister, Lucille Scott of St. Cloud, FL; one sister-in-law, Carol Parrish of Summer Shade; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren and special caregiver, Vonitta Brumit (Malcolm). She was also preceded in death by one brother, Howard Parrish. Funeral services will be officicated by Bro. Carson Howard with burial at Bowling Green Gardens.
