Virgie Lashley Williams, 74, of Bee Spring, KY, died Thursday, January 21, 2010 in Brownsville, KY.

She was born May 12, 1935 in Edmonson County to the late Miles Lashley and the late Sylvia McGrew Lashley and the wife of Lee Williams.

She was a retired clerk for Brownsville IGA Grocery, was a former member of Eastern Star and a member of Pleasant Union United Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Lee Williams of Bee Spring, KY; one son, Ronnie Williams (Inez) of Georgetown, KY; one daughter, Theresa Binion (Greg) of Bee Spring, KY; three brothers, Willard Lashley of Noxapater, MS, Leroy Lashley of Savannah, GA and Earl Lashley of Georgia; two sisters, Blanche Lugwig of Riverside, CA and Irene Williams of Hart Co., KY; three grandchildren, Joshua Williams, Christopher Williams and Mikey Colburn.  She was also preceded in death by one sister, Lucille Lashley.

Services will be officiated by Bro. Malcolm Doyle and Bro. Jerry Patton with burial in the Poplar Spring Cemetery.
