Travis Poteet

Travis Wayne Poteet, 42, of  Bee Spring, KY departed this life on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at his home. The  Edmonson Co. native was born on July 30, 1971 to Billy and Pat Poteet.

He was employed by Bee Spring Lumber Company and was a member of Bee Spring Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his parents, Billy and Pat Poteet of Bee Spring, KY; one sister, Sherry Carroll (Jesse) of Bee Spring, KY; grandmother, Mary C. Ashley of Bee Spring, KY; one nephew, Tristan Penn of Bee Spring, KY and a multitude of friends and family members that loved and cared for him during his illness.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hosparus of Barren River or Hotel Louisville Hospitality House, 120 W. Broadway, Louisville, KY.

Interment will be in Bee Spring Church Cemetery with Bro. Malcolm Doyle officiating.
