Travis C. Lamar, 75, of  Bee Spring, KY departed this life on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at his residence. The Edmonson County native was born June 11, 1940 to the late Ben and Norma Bullock Lamar and was married to Barbara Manion Lamar, whom survives.

He was a retired carpenter for Nancy Smith Construction and a member of Bee Spring Missionary Baptist Church.

He is also survived by two sons, Danny Lamar of Modesto, CA and Travis Lamar of Bee Spring; four daughters, Leasa Lamar of Atwater, CA, Wendy Lamar of Stockton, CA, Dulana “Dee” Firestein of Bee Spring and Tina Decker of Bee Spring; four brothers, Fred Lamar (Sondra) of Louisville, Randy Lamar (Linda) of Bowling Green, Ben Douglas Lamar (Lori) of Brownsville and Don Lamar (Theresa) of Brownsville; four sisters, Jenetta Crigler (Ed) of Shepherdsville, Linda Wells (Charlie) of Lindseyville, Patricia Marsh (Tom) of Bee Spring and Brenda Lamar (Rick) of Louisville; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one son, Ricky Travis Lamar.

Interment will be in Bee Spring Church Cemetery.
