1960 - 2021

Tony Joe Spinks, age 61 of Louisville, KY departed this life on Monday, July 5, 2021 at Norton’s Healthcare Pavilion.  The Jefferson County native was born on December 11, 1960 to the late Joe L. and Margaret Opal Lindsey Spinks.

Tony was a former employee of T.J. Maxx, an eagle scout and volunteered at the science center.  He was also a member of Southwest Christian Church.

He leaves to honor his memory— his foster mother, Maggie Whayne (Jim) of Louisville; sister, Rebecca Boyk (Frank) of Sweeden; step-mother, Mamie Spinks of Sweeden and step-brother, Tim Lindsey (Sherry) of Chalybeate,  along with several nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Neal Spinks.

Interment will be in Wingfield Church Cemetery.
