Stevie Allen Wilson

Stevie Allen Wilson, age 69 of Louisville, departed this life with his family by his side on Monday, December 18, 2023 at Norton Audubon Hospital.  The Edmonson County native was born on December 23, 1953 to the late Elzie and Inez Dorsey Wilson.  He was married to his loving wife of thirty-seven years, Karen Wilson, who survives.

Stevie retired from General Electric, where he worked for thirty-six years in manufacturing and as a safety inspector.  He was saved as a twelve-year-old boy at Union Light Missionary Baptist Church, and remained a member there until his passing.  Stevie was also a member of the IUE-CWA Local 83761 Union.  He thoroughly enjoyed working on antique cars, attending car shows and riding his Harley Davidson with his wife.  His greatest love was spending valued time with his family.

Besides his wife, Karen, he leaves to honor his memory— his daughters, Stephanie Wilson and Rachel Wilson both of Louisville; three grandchildren, Sadie, Keelan and Mylie Hall; five siblings, Robert Wilson (Bobbie), Randall Wilson (Mary Lou), Ray Wilson (Doris), Estel Wilson (Paula) and Patty Dennis (Bennie) and sister-in-law, Becky Wilson.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Ruben Wilson.

Interment will be in Union Light Church Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made to: Union Light Cemetery Fund.
