Shirley Jackson

Shirley Woodcock Jackson, age 65 of Smiths Grove passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2009 in Glasgow, KY. She was born Febuary 28, 1943 in Hart Co. to the late Lacy Woodcock and the late Lucy Mae Gaskin Woodcock and was married to the late Orin Jackson, Jr.. She was a bookkeeper and secretary for the Bowling Green Board of Education and was a member of Rowletts United Methodist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Michele Wood (Bill Sirles) of Rowletts, KY, Megan R. Jackson of Glasgow, KY; two sons, Orin Taylor Jackson (Julie) of Glasgow, KY, Jason Jackson companion (Tristan Grayson) of Upton, KY; one sister, Pamela Rich of Munfordville, KY; three brothers Carlton Woodcock (Flonnie) of Shepherdsville, KY, Glenn Woodcock (Elaine) of Munfordville, KY, Ronald Woodcock (Donita) of Munfordville, KY; two stepdaughters, Vickey Grimsley of Bowling Green, KY, Debra Wiemer (Mark) of Noblesville, IN; sister-in-law, Allene Alley Woodcock of Cave City, KY; brother-in-law, Eugene Rich of Glasgow, KY; seven grandchildren; five step grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one brother Ray Woodcock. Services will be officiated by brother Jimmy Lawrence and brother Gary Talley with burial in Hays Cemetery.
