Sharon Kay Hatcher, age 56, of Cave City was called home Monday, July 22, 2013 in the caring hands of T.J. Samson Hospital. The Barren Co. native was the daughter of Royce and Elizabeth Hughes Alexander and the wife of Dennis Hatcher. She was a certified nursing aide at Glasgow State Nursing Facility and a member of Basil Chapel Baptist Church.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Dennis Hatcher of Cave City, KY; her two sons, Jason Spencer (Samantha Spencer) of Elizabethtown, KY and Chad Hatcher (Heather Proffitt) of Glasgow, KY; her two grandsons, Lex Spencer of Elizabethtown, KY and Bryson Hatcher of Glasgow, KY and one granddaughter, Ryan Elizabeth Spencer of Elizabethtown, KY and her parents, Royce and Elizabeth Alexander of Glasgow, KY; two brothers, Donnie Alexander (Debbie) of Glasgow, KY, Jim Alexander (Jo), Knob Lick, KY; one sister, Brenda Compton, Glasgow, KY
In Revelations God talks about a believer going to heaven and when they get there they watch over us and cheer us on as if they are in the stand watching a game. She will be forever cheering us on until we meet her in the river of life.
Services will be officiated by Bro. Danny Dickson and Wayne Hatcher with burial in the Evergreen cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
