Scott Parsley

Scott Kelly Parsley, 42, of Brownsville, entered into rest with the Lord on Saturday, July 27, 2013 in Bowling Green, KY.  The Edmonson County native was the son of Sherry Lakofka and Steve Parsley.

He was a graduate of Warren East High School.

He is survived by his his mother, Sherry Lakofka and her husband Don of Bowling Green, KY; his father Steve Parsley and his wife Phyllis of Brownsville, KY;  three sisters, Stephanie McCurdy and her husband Chris of Knoxville, TN, Kyla Houchin of Bowling Green, KY and Julie Howard and her husband Wayne of Alvaton, KY; two brothers, Gary Lakofka of Jacksonville, FL and Joe Lakofka of Lexington, KY; maternal grandmother, Ruth Skaggs of Bowling Green, KY; paternal grandmother, Marie Daniel and her husband Murel of Brownsville, KY; step grandmother, Jessie Prunty of Brownsville, KY; his family at the Edmonson Health Care Center and several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be in the Pleasant Union United Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Jerry Miller and Bro. Calvin Bond officiating the service.
