Sarah Frances Parker, age 96, of Owensboro, formerly of Park City, KY, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Owensboro Health Regional System after a short illness.

She was a life long member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church in Park City, KY.

Sarah was born February 23, 1921 to Harry and Lola Haydon. She was a former employee of Park Mammoth, Treasure Chest and Nevilles Finer Food. Sarah enjoyed gardening, yard work, UK basketball, crocheting, crossword puzzles, and beating her opponent at rummie.

She is proceeded in death by her husband of 56 years, James Parker, and siblings Charles Haydon and Catherine Davidson.

She is survived by one daughter Roberta Haire (Hank); two sons, Phillip Parker (Charlotte), Paul Parker; eight grandchildren, Rana Bush-Chalfant (Diana), Randy Bush (Robin), Nichole Bushman (Mike), Greg Parker (Amy), Pam Amoroso (Frank), Kevin Baldock, Tommy Parker (Casey), Daniel Parker; seven great grandchildren, Grace Bush, Ashley Parker, Austin Parker, Brittany Posey, Gabe Parker, Hadley Parker, Peyton Bushman; four great-great grandchildren

Memorial Contributions can be made to Walnut Hill Baptist Church.

Interment will be in Walnut Hill Church Cemetery.
