Sammy Fawns, Jr

Sammy Fawns, Jr., 69, of  Cave City, KY, passed away Monday, January 6, 2014 in Morgantown, KY. The Covington, KY  native was born April 16, 1944 to the late Sammy Fawns, Sr. and the late Ethel Murphy Fawns.

He was a crane operator for Cohen Brothers and a member of the National Guard and Cave City Church of God.

He is survived by his wife, Rosie J. Fawns of Cave City, KY; one son, Sammy Fawns III (Marnie) of Park City, KY; one step son, Ralph Fox (Roberta) of Glasgow, KY; two step daughters, Mary Ammons (Robert)  of North Carolina and Peggy Gabbard (Tim) of Booneville, KY; twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.  He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Sondra Fawns.

There will be no visitation or funeral service for Mr. Fawns.
