1957 - 2021

Sammie Glass, age 63, of  Sweeden, departed this life on Friday, April 30, 2021 at his residence. The Barren County native was born on July 29, 1957 to the late Huston and Garnetta Laverne Hawks Glass. He was married to Marie Glass, who also preceded him in death.

Sammie was a fork lift operator at Bowling Green Metal Forming.  He loved watching Nascar races, and singing karaoke with his friends at Brownsville Karoke.

He leaves to honor his memory-- two sons, Davy Glass of Bowling Green and Donovan Glass (Coti) of Sweeden; two daughters, Amy Casey (Brian) of Clarkson and Amanda Glass of Bowling Green; eleven grandchildren; one brother, Gary Glass (C.J.) of Bowling Green and one sister, Laverne Childers of Bowling Green. He was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Katelyn Casey, and sister, Sandra Elaine Glass.

Interment will be at Wingfield Church Cemetery.
