Ruby Murphy

Ruby V. "Jube" Murphy, age 89 of Bee Spring, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2007 at her daughters residence in Louisville. The Edmonson county native was born Decmber 23, 1917 to the late Nathan VanMeter and Emma Kidwell VanMeter Brooks and married to the late Elmer S. Meredith and Miles A. Murphy. She was a christian and a housewife. She is survived by one daughter, Ruth Helen Garner of Louisville; one son, Troy Meredith of Baldwin, FL.; one sister, Retta Stevenson of Bee Spring; three grandchildren, Troy Gene Meredith, James A. Garner and Roxanne Shaw; four great grandchildren, T.J. Meredith, Zachary Meredith, Alex Shaw and Nathan Shaw. She was also preceded in death by one grandson, Robert K. Garner. Services will be officiated by Bro. Jerry Patton with burial in the Jock church cemetery.
