Ruby Ashley

Ruby Carroll Ashley age 89 of Sweeden passed away October 10, 2006 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. She was born March 2, 1917 in Edmonson County to the late Willie G. and Ethel Vincent Carroll. She was married to the late William Elbert Ashley, was a homemaker and a member of Sweeden Missionary Baptist Church. She is survuved by one son: Dale Ashley of Sweeden, one daughter: Carol Lynn Stewart (Eddie) of Louisville, one grandson: James Ashley Stewart (Amanda) of Louisville, one great granddaughter: Madelynn Kay Stewart, one brother: James Elwood Carroll (Carol) of Elyria,OH, three sisters: Faith Brown of Elyria, OH, Gerry Wardlow (Jack) of Bee Spring and Wilda Larson (Dick) of Wayzata, MN. She is also preceded in death by one brother Dewey Carroll. Funeral service is at Patton Funeral Home Brownsville Chapel with burial in the Sweeden Church Cemetery. Bro. Paul Hawkins and Bro. Jerry Patton will be officiating.
