Royce Alexander

Royce Lavon Alexander, 80, of  Glasgow, KY, was called home November 18, 2013 in Glasgow, KY. The Edmonson County native was born to the late  James Floyd Alexander and the late Virgie Estes Alexander.

He was a truck driver for Square Deal Lumber and a member of Basil Chapel United Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Elizabeth Hughes Alexander of Glasgow, KY; two sons, Donnie Alexander (Debbie) of Glasgow, KY and Jim Alexander (Jo) of Knob Lick KY; one daughter, Brenda Compton (Fiance' Gary Jones) of Glasgow, KY; one son-in-law, Dennis Hatcher of Cave City, KY; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by one daughter, Sharon Hatcher and one grandson, Donnie Wayne Alexander.

Brol. Danny Dickson will officiate. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
