Roy Crabtree

Roy T. Crabtree, 70, of Smiths Grove, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2006 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. He was born February 12, 1936 in Albany,KY to the late Brown and Lula Rigney Crabtree and married to Georgia D. Stinson Crabtree. He was a logger for Stinson Logging Company. Besides his wife he is survived by five sons, Eddie Crabtree (Tabitha) of Brownsville, Frankie Crabtree (Teresa) of Park City, Jeff Crabtree (Melinda) of Cave City, Joe Crabtree (Daphne) of Brownsville and James Crabtree of Bowling Green; five daughters, Helen Byrd of Cave City, Shilrey Vincent (Cliff) of Horse Cave, Peggy Hayes of Brownsville, Kathy Smith (Tommy) of Cave City and Angie Woolbright (Roger) of Bowling Green; one brother Martin Crabtree of Albany; two sisters, Mary Alice Crouch and Lois Guffey of Albany; eighteen grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Services will be conducted by Chuck Helit with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery in Park City.
