1932 - 2021

Rosetta Lewis, age 89 of Cave City, departed this life on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at The Medical Center of Caverna.  The Barren County native was born on September 14, 1932 to the late Veach and Eula Undine Poynter Hampton.  She was married to Albert Lewis, who also preceded her in death.

Rosetta retired from Cave City Manufacturing as a seamstress.  She had also previously worked for Mammoth Cave Hotel.

She leaves to honor her memory— her four children, Johnny Lewis (Patricia) of Cave City, Mary Ann Lashley (Freddie) of Horse Cave, Janet Vaughn of Smiths Grove and Lisa Vincent (Jeff) of Cave City; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and two sisters, Ruth Etta Dehart and Mary Frances Pedigo.  Besides her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Ray Lewis, and three grandchildren, Penny Fay Lewis, Amy Lashley and Jeremy Douglas Vaughn.

Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
