Rondal “Butch” Minyard, age 68 of Brownsville, departed this life on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at his residence. The Edmonson County native was born on November 12, 1954 to the late Charles and Bernice Thompson Minyard. He is survived by his wife, Diana Simpson.

Butch worked for many years as a mechanic, and his passion was restoring classic cars. He was a member of New Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Besides his wife, Diana, he leaves to honor his memory— his children, Neil Minyard (Amy) of Chalybeate, Richie Minyard (Leslie) of Brownsville and Dottie Collins (Timmy) of Smiths Grove; stepchildren, Jason Johnson (Cathy) of Chalybeate, Carey Woodcock (Jason) of Bee Spring, Stacy Collins of Bowling Green and Ashley Spainhoward (Brad); nine grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a sister, Charline Thomas. He was also preceded in death by his wives, Sybil Johnson Minyard and Kathy Collins Minyard, and  a brother, Tony Neil Minyard.

Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
