Romie Gipson

Romie L. Gipson, age 75 of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at his residence. He was born September 9, 1932 in Edmonson County to the late Charles and Nola Blair Gipson. He was a retired sheet metal fabricator and welder for Queens Products and Vulcanhart and a member of Ollie United Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Childress Gipson; one son, Joe Gipson (Mary Ann) of Bedford, IN; two daughters, Carolyn Casey and Sandy Whitaker (Don) of Louisville; one brother, Lawrence Gipson of Louisville; three sisters, Elzora Yokum of Campbellsville, Margie Lay of Pioneer, TN and Temple Rogers of Murray; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Burial will be in Jaggers cemetery.
