Roger Martin

Roger K. Martin, age 84, of Park City, KY. passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014 in Glasgow. He was born September 9, 1929 in Barren County to the late W.L. Martin, Sr. and Ora Berry Martin.

He was a Korean War Army veteran, a former banker with Park City Bank and  South Central Bank, charter member Park City Lions Club, former chairman of Barren Co. Democratic Party, Walnut Hill Cemetery Treasurer and a member Walnut Hill Baptist Church where he was a Sunday School teacher for 40 years and Church Clerk and Sunday School Superintendant for 55 years.

He is survived by one sister, Evelyn Martin of Park City.

The funeral service will be officiated Bro. Ken Thomas with burial in the Walnut Hill Cemetery, Park City, KY with military honors.
