Robert Vanmeter

Robert VanMeter, age 74 of Brownsville, passed away Monday May 5, 2010 at his residence. He was born May 14, 1935 to the late Arthur and Leith Rich VanMeter.

Robert was a retired laborer and a member of Kyrock Methodist Church.

He is survived by two daughters, Carol Cooper (Dean) of Morrisville, IN and Christine Taylor (Donald) of Houston, TX; three brothers, Darrell "Bobby" VanMeter (Nelma) of Park City, Roy VanMeter of Smiths Grove and Ova VanMeter of Louisville and two grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Walter, Cody and Watha VanMeter and one sister, Wanda Brooks.

Services will be officiated by Bro. Malcolm Doyle with burial in the Jock Cemetery.
