Robert J. Hampton, age 47 of Bon Ayr, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2014 at his residence. He was born April 17, 1967 in Glasgow, KY to the late Jessie Lester "Dick" Hampton and the late Marilyn Joann Wagoner Hamblin and was married to Lisa Wells Hampton of Bon Ayr who survives. He was a senior tube mill operator for Felker Brothers and was a member of Cedar Springs United Baptist Church.
He is also survived by one son, Jessie Hampton of Bon Ayr; one daughter, Marilyn Hampton of Bon Ayr; one step son, Cody Honeycutt of Park City; one step daughter, Beth Cook (Clint) of Bon Ayr; two brothers, Billy Hampton (Debbie) of Cave City and Wayne Hamblin (Phyllis Ward) of Hardyville; two sisters, Carolyn Blair (Murill) and Betty Hatcher (Eugene) both of Cave City; two grandchildren, Blake and Tanner Cook and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Patsy Carnahan.
Burial will be in the Hawkins Cemetery with Bro. Jeff Doyle officiating.
