Richard Brooks

Richard Weldon "Ricky" Brooks, age 51 of Lindseyville, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at his residence. He was born January 5, 1958 in Edmonson County to the late Anson and Alda Williams Brooks. He attended Pleasant View United Baptist Church and Anneta United Baptist Church. He is survived by four brothers, Randall Brooks of Sweeden, Bobby Brooks (Arlene) of Anneta, Haskel Brooks (Ruby) of Warrenton, MO and Eddie Brooks of Louisville; six sisters, Barbara Sneed of Louisville, Paulette Glass (Freeman) of Bee Spring, Valma Hornsby (Freddie) of Ollie, Pam Ayotte of Louisville, Wilma Evans (Mike) of Lindseyville and Kathy Carroll (Keith) of Bee Spring. He was also preceded in death by; two brothers Douglas McArthur and Larry Brooks and one sister, Mary Clark. Services will be officiated by Bro. Frankie Tennison with burial in the Cove Hollow Cemetery.
