Rev. Wayne Basil

Rev. Wayne Basil, age 65, of Brownsville, passed away, Tuesday, March 17, 2009 in Bowling Green. He was born July 9, 1943 in Barren County to the late Paul Basil and to the late Mildred Hatcher Basil and was married to Anna Basil. He was a retired electrician for General Motors and was a member at Poplar Springs United Baptist Church. He is survived by wife, Anna Basil of Brownsville, KY; Three sons, Darrell Basil (Jeannie) of Bowling Green, KY, Tim Basil (Lisa) of Brownsville, KY, Kevin Basil (April) of Brownsville, KY; six grandchildren, Tyler Basil, Christina Mize, Alex Basil, Serina Thomas, Alex Thomas, Jhonna Basil; one brother, Kenneth Basil (Sherry) of Bowling Green, KY; two siters, Jean Vincent (Billy) of Brownsville, KY, Janice Vincent (Danny) of Hiseville, KY. He was preceded in death by grandson, Elijah Basil. Services will be officiated by Bro. Jim Blair with burial in Poplar Spring Church Cemetery.
