Rev. Roy Sanders

Rev. Roy Sanders, age 96 of Mammoth Cave, passed away Tuesday October 13, 2009 at his residence. He was born February 13, 1913 in Edmonson County to the late James Pertie Sanders and Lenda Miles Sanders and married to the late Beatrice Davis Sanders. He was a United Baptist Preacher and a farmer. He is survivied by two sons, Clifton Sanders (Anna June) and Nelson (Pauletta); three grandchildren, Donnie Sanders, Keith Sanders (Jeanice Annette) and Kerry Sanders (Kim); six great grandchildren, Anthony Scott Sanders, Darren Ray Sanders, Jordan Roy Sanders, Sarah Elizabeth Sanders, Jenna Beatrice Sanders and Jarrod Zachary Sanders all of Mammoth Cave and several nieces nephews and a host of friends. Services will be officiated by Bro. Lelan Childress and Bro. Keith Sanders with burial in the Ollie Cemetery.
