1928 - 2015
Rev. Roy Hogan, 87, of Brownsville, KY passed away Saturday, December 26 2015 in Bowling Green. The Edmonson Co. native was born on March 6, 1928 in
Lindseyville to the late Rev. Willie E. Hogan and the late Audie Browning Hogan. He was the husband of the late Jenell White Hogan.
Roy was a retired molder for International Harvester. He was ordained on December 15, 1956 and pastored sixteen churches and was a member of Midway United Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by three sons, Rev. Dan Hogan (Glenda) of Horse Cave, Ricky Hogan (Gail), Rodney Hogan both of Brownsville; one brother, Willie Victor Hogan (Lois) of Bowling Green; three sisters, Christine Vincent of Bardstown, Chloie Roof of Mt. Washington, Nancy Hogan of Bardstown; five grandchildren, Troy Hogan (Shelly), David Hogan, Crystal Elmore (Chris), Malena Hogan, Lance Hogan (Jennifer) and one great granddaughter, Megan Hogan.
Interment will be at Sweeden Church Cemetery.
