Rev. Elzie G. Lindsey, Jr., passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2007 in Brownsville. He was born February 1, 1937 in Edmonson County to the late Elzie G. Lindsey, Sr. and Maggie Vincent Lindsey. He was a retired grader operator for Edmonson County Highway Department and a member or Pleasant Union United Baptist Church and Washington Meredith Masonic Lodge #355 F&AM. He is survived by his wife Lona Stewart Lindsey; one son, Kevin Lindsey; one daughter Regina Webb (George); one granddaughter, Autumn Webb all of Sweeden; four half brothers; Jimmie Kinser of Indianapoli, Damon Kinser of Louisville, Larry Lindsey of Alabama and Bengie Lindsey of Lexington; three half sisters, Stella Mae Bledsoe and Ovaline Murphy of Bowling Green and Betty Lee Blanton of Goodlettsville. He was also preceded in death by one half brother, Jimmy H. Lindsey. Services will be officiated by Bro. Jerry Patton and Bro. Richard Minton with burial in the Pleasant Union Church Cemetery. Masonic services will be held at Patton Funeral Home at 6:30 pm Friday.
