Raymond Earl Eatmon, age 69 of Cave City, departed this life at his home, with his family by his side on Sunday, April 21, 2024. The Barren County native was born on August 8, 1954, to the late Earl and Etta Ethel Eatmon. He was married to his best friend and love of his life, Ruby Carter Eatmon, who survives.
Raymond worked for J.F. Pace Rock Quarry as a loader operator but was always willing to do anything that was asked of him. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading history books and putting models together. He cherished the time spent with his family, sharing laughs and pulling pranks on them. Raymond was a member of Boyds Creek United Methodist Church.
Besides his wife, Ruby, he leaves to honor his memory—his siblings, Wanda Babbitt (George), Carolyn Cole (Philo), Debra Emmert (Lee), Tammy Eatmon, Kathy Hall, Ernie Eatmon (Katie), Elizabeth Lutzen (Myron) and Alisha Rich (Jimmie); his mother-in-law, Dorothy Carter; sisters-in-law, Ruthann Sexton (Junior) and Susie Eatmon, along with several nieces and nephews that he loved as his own. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Mary Coulter, Kenneth Eatmon, Patricia Wheeler and Margie Tarry.
Interment will be in Campground Cemetery.
