1943-2018

Ray D. “Ray Hoss” Lashley age 75, of Brownsville, departed this life on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at his residence. The Edmonson County native was born on May 31, 1943 to the late  Willard Ray Lashley and Wilma Lois Johnson Lashley.  He was married to the late Anna Earlene Williams Lashley.

Ray Hoss was a sanitation engineer for the City of Brownsville and was a member of the Brownsville General Baptist Church.

He leaves to honor his memory-- one sister, Sue Carter (Sammy) of Noxapatar, MS; one aunt, Joyce Johnson; two nieces, Lorie Cremeen (Cliff) and Tammy Cade (Paul); three step sons, Gary Bagshaw (Donna) of  Mammoth Cave,  Bobby Bagshaw (Cindy) of Anneta and David Bagshaw (Sandy) of Brownsville; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.  He was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Shivonia Bagshaw, two grandsons, Brandon Bagshaw and Christopher Hayes, and a grandson-in-law, James Lee Jewel.

Interment will be in  Oak Hill Cemetery.
