Phyllis L. Cooper, age 65 of Nashville, formerly of Louisville, passed away Friday, June 13, 2008 in Nashville. She was born May 15, 1943 in Edmonson County to the late Rev. Ernest and Chrystal Parsley Kersey. She was a housewife and a charter member of Rockford View United Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband James W. Cooper of Nashville; sister-in-law, Shirley Kersey; brother-in-law, David Cooper (Mieko);four nephews, Dennis Kersey,James Kersey, Kevin Kersey and Andrew Cooper; one niece, Michelle Kersey and several great nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Cordis Kersey. Services will be officiated by Bro. David Seabolt with burial in Ollie cemetery.
