Paul Slaughter

Paul Slaughter, 84, of Brownsville, Ky, died Saturday, May 15, 2010 at his residence.  He was born July 5, 1925 in Edmonson Co., KY.  to the late William Russell Slaughter and the late Nancy Jane Meredith Slaughter.  He was the husband of the late Fern Slaughter.  He was the owner of Slaughters Plumbing & Heating.  He was a member of I.O.O.F. # 164. Brownsville Rebekah Lodge # 8 and was Past President of the Grand Encampment of Kentucky, and a member of Pleasant Union United Baptist Church.

Odd Fellow service will be held 6:30pm, Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at the Patton Funeral Home Brownsville Chapel.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Kinslow Cemetery c/o Clifford Thoams Ray, 531 Beaver Dam Church Rd., Brownsville, KY 42210.

He is survived by two sons, David Slaughter (Lora) of Bowling Green, KY and Dan Slaughter (Sheila) of Brownsville, KY; one daughter, Janet Dennison (David) of Brownsville, KY; seven grandchildren, Scott Dossey (Elisabeth) , Marsha Gentry (Michael), Sherry Maxwell (Eugene), Jacey Hargis (Dan) , Cassie Carpenter (Eric), Chelsea Childress (Daniel), Cameron Slaughter; one brother, Rayburn Slaughter of Louisville, KY; nine gerat grandchildren; special friend, Frances Lashley of Brownsville, KY; special caregiver, Doris Harrison of Lindseyville, KY.
