Patsie M. Basham Reed, age 75, of Brownsville, KY departed this life on Thursday, August 4, 2016 in Brownsville, KY. She was born on September 4, 1940 in Edmonson County, KY to the late Erva Denton Basham and Leva Johnson Basham.

She was a cosmetologist and former owner of Sweeden Hair Care. She was a member of Brownsville General Baptist Church and a former member of Rocky Hill Chapter #279 O.E.S.

Patsie was a devout Christian that always loved and accepted everyone with open arms.

She leaves to cherish her memory one son, George Timothy Reed of Brownsville, KY; one brother, Hayward “Woody” Basham (Brenda) of Brownsville, KY along with several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Billy Basham and two half sisters, Eilene Schasher and Helen Reynolds.

Interment will be in Mt. Zion Church Cemetery.
