Noma Decker Friedley, age 100, of Brownsville, KY, departed this life on Friday, June 12, 2015 at the Edmonson Health Center in Brownsville, KY. The Grayson County native was born on April 6, 1915 to the late Harrison and Ida Stevenson Decker. She was married to the late Melton “Buddy” Friedley.
She was a retired machine operator at P. Lorillard Company in Louisville, KY. She was a member of the Green River Eastern Star and Pleasant Union United Baptist Church.
She leaves to honor her memory, one daughter, Ann Dennison of Louisville, KY; one son, Riley Cureton (Chris) of Peoria, IL; six grandchildren, Jana Reinhart (Mike), Jay Cureton,Dallas Cureton (Karen), Steve Cureton (Sally), Ricky Dennison, and Sandra Madison; 12 great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren She was also preceded in death by one son Elbert Cureton and one grandson Denny Cureton.
