Nita Childress

Nita Childress, 67, of Park City, KY, died Monday, December 26, 2011 in Bowling Green, KY.  The Warren Co. native was born June 22, 1944, to the late Willie Gibbons and the late Doomie Johnson Gibbons and was the wife of the late Curtis Childress.  She was a homemaker and assisted her son at Park City Auto Sales and was a member of  Fairview United Baptist Church in Brownsville, KY.

She is survived by  one daughter, Wilma Bunnell (Bobby) of Glasgow, KY; two sons, Eric Childress (Treva Nell) of Park City, KY and Deric Childress (Connie Jones Bewley) of Cave City, KY; one grandson, Kyle Bunnell of Glasgow, KY; one brother, John Gibbons (Hazel) of Vine Grove, KY; one special sister-in-law and friend, Mary Gibbons of Brownsville, KY; one sister-in-law, Mildred Gibbons of Delaware; several nieces and  nephews.  She was preceded in death by two brothers, Kermit and Wilbur Gibbons.  Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery with Bro. Malcolm Doyle officiating.
