1927 - 2021

Nelda Webb, age 94 of Brownsville, KY went to her heavenly home on Thursday, August 5, 2021.  The Edmonson County native was born on February 28, 1927 to the late Claude and Beatrice Houchin James.  She was married to Morris Wayne “Buck” Webb, who preceded her in death.

Nelda and Buck owned and operated Webb Farm Store in Brownsville for many years.  She later retired from the Edmonson County Board of Education.  In times past, she was an active member of the Edmonson County Republican Party and the Rebekahs.  She was also a member of Pleasant Union United Baptist Church.

She leaves to honor her memory— one daughter, Martha Mudd (Donald), along with extended family members, Sharon French and Angela French Lawler (Emmanuel) all of Brownsville, along with several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four precious children, Carl Wayne, Cecil Willis, Ella Jean and William, three brothers and four sisters.

Interment will be in Sweeden Cemetery.
