Naomi Thompson, age 92, of Lindseyville, KY, departed this life on Monday, December 5, 2016 in Brownsville, KY. The Edmonson County native was born April 13, 1924 to the late Everette Lindsey and Lois Vincent Lindsey. She was married to the late James E. “Fat” Thompson, Sr.

Naomi was a homemaker. She was a member of Midway United Missionary Baptist Church and Brownsville Rebekah Lodge.

She leaves to honor her memory, one son, Tim Thompson of Lindseyville, KY; one daughter, Jeanne Houchins (Mike) of Chalybeate, KY; one sister, Helen Gish of Valdosta, GA; seven grandchildren, Lois Ann Houchin (Dion), Crissy Clark, Michelle Decker (Chris), Patrick Clark (Kristin), Jennifer Skees (James), Katleyn Thompson, Jay Thompson (Sara); and nine great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son, James E. “Jamie” Thompson, Jr., one daughter, Donna Clark and one sister, Elsie Kinkade.

Interment will be in Midway Church Cemetery.
