Nancy Sanders Sturgeon, 81, of Chalybeate, KY, died Friday, July 9, 2010 in Bowling Green, KY. She was born March 10, 1929 in Grayson Co., KY to the late Simon Decker and the late Rhoda Cook Decker.She was the wife of the late Leslie Sanders and the late Ernest Sturgeon. She was a retired Presser for Phar-Shar of Leitchfield and Kellwood of Brownsville, KY.and was a member of Annetta United Baptist Church.Services will be officicated byBro. Chad Lashley and Bro.Thomas Meredith with burial in the Annetta Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Annetta Church Cemetery Fund. She is survived by a son, Simon Sanders (Cheryl) of Brownsville, KY; six daughtesr, Ellen Priddy(Tommy) and Helen Priddy (Robert) of Chalybeate, KY, Mary Lashley (Anthony) of Brownsville, KY, Mollie Johnson (Elbert) of Sweeden, KY, Effie Hogan (James) of Brownsville, KY and Nellie Hennion (Lawrence) of Bowling Green, KY; one brother, Eugene Decker of Greensboro, NC; three sisters, Hannah Sanders of Brownsville, KY, Elva Sanders of Sweeden, KY and Sarah Duvall of Bowling Green, KY; 20grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Edward Sanders and three brothers, Stroude Decker, Calvin Decker and Vean Decker.
